Product Guidance
Products and Applications
Start with the vehicle, equipment, required specification, and operating conditions rather than selecting a lubricant by brand name or viscosity alone.
What types of lubricants and automotive chemicals does Lube Squad supply?
The product catalog includes passenger-car motor oils, heavy-duty diesel engine oils, automatic transmission fluids, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, antifreeze and coolant, greases, brake fluids, and automotive shop chemicals.
Product availability and packaging may change, so review the current product catalog or contact customer support for a specific application.
Which lubricant brands are available?
The current Lube Squad catalog includes products marketed under Everest, Petromerica, iLast, and Tiger’s Head.
Available product categories, viscosity grades, specifications, and package sizes vary by brand and individual SKU.
How do I choose the correct motor oil viscosity?
Start with the viscosity grade listed in the vehicle or equipment manufacturer’s manual. The correct selection may also depend on engine design, model year, climate, duty cycle, and required performance specification.
How do I determine which API, ILSAC, or OEM specification I need?
Check the owner’s manual, service information, equipment documentation, or the specification stated by the original equipment manufacturer. Then compare that requirement with the applicable product page and Technical Data Sheet.
Do not rely only on the product name, container color, or viscosity printed on the front label.
Can Lube Squad help me identify an available product for a specific application?
Customer support can help locate available products based on the information you provide. Include the vehicle or equipment, model year, engine or transmission type, required specification, viscosity grade, packaging preference, and estimated quantity.
Final product selection should remain consistent with the equipment manufacturer’s current requirements.
Can lubricants or fluids from different brands be mixed?
Do not assume that products are compatible simply because they share a similar color, viscosity, or general product category. Mixing may affect additive balance, performance, warranty requirements, or equipment operation.
Follow the OEM instructions and verify compatibility through the product documentation before mixing or topping off a system.
Technical Support
Specifications and Documentation
Use each document for its intended purpose. A TDS explains product performance, while an SDS addresses safe handling and hazard communication.
What is the difference between a TDS and an SDS?
A Technical Data Sheet, or TDS, describes the product’s intended applications, typical properties, viscosity information, performance levels, and other technical characteristics.
A Safety Data Sheet, or SDS, provides hazard, handling, storage, personal protection, first-aid, spill, and disposal information.
An SDS should not be used as a substitute for technical performance data, and a TDS should not be used as a substitute for workplace safety instructions.
Where can I find a Technical Data Sheet?
Visit the Technical Data Sheets library. Some product pages also include documentation associated with the individual product.
Match the document to the exact brand, product name, viscosity, specification, and revision before relying on it.
Where can I find a Safety Data Sheet?
Visit the Safety Data Sheets library and locate the document that matches the exact product.
Keep the current SDS accessible to employees who receive, store, transfer, or use the product.
How can I verify a product license, certificate, or approval?
Review the Certificates and Approvals section and confirm that the document applies to the exact brand, product, specification, and relevant validity period.
Where an issuing organization maintains a public directory, the current directory should also be checked. Contact customer support when a certificate is unclear, expired, or cannot be matched to the product.
What is the difference between “approved,” “licensed,” and “meets requirements”?
- Approved or licensed generally indicates formal authorization from the organization responsible for the specification.
- Meets the requirements of is typically a performance claim made for the product and is not automatically the same as formal approval.
- Suitable for use indicates that the supplier considers the product appropriate for the listed application, but it should not be interpreted as an OEM approval unless supporting documentation states otherwise.
How do I know whether a document is the current revision?
Check the revision date, issue date, product name, specification, and any stated expiration or validity period. Do not assume that the newest-looking filename automatically applies to your product.
Contact customer support when multiple versions are available or the applicable revision is uncertain.
What should I do if a document is missing?
Send customer support the full product name, brand, viscosity or grade, package size, part number when available, and the type of document needed.
Do not substitute documentation from a different brand, viscosity grade, formulation, or product generation without confirmation.

Business Customers
Wholesale Accounts and Pricing
Pricing and commercial terms depend on the product, package size, quantity, account status, delivery location, and current availability.
Does Lube Squad sell lubricants at wholesale?
Lube Squad serves business customers purchasing lubricants, automotive fluids, and related products for resale, shop use, fleet maintenance, or other commercial applications.
Use the New Customers section to begin the account process.
How do I open a new customer account?
Review the new customer information and submit the requested business details. Depending on the account type, additional company, resale, tax, trade, delivery, or credit information may be requested.
Submission of an application does not automatically confirm pricing, credit terms, product allocation, or delivery arrangements.
How do I request wholesale pricing?
Provide the exact product or required specification, preferred brand when applicable, package size, estimated quantity, delivery location, and requested timing.
Product pages may include a wholesale pricing request option. You can also contact the Lube Squad team directly.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantities may vary by product, package format, warehouse availability, delivery method, and customer account. Do not assume that one minimum applies to the entire catalog.
Include the SKU and required quantity in your request so the applicable ordering conditions can be confirmed.
What information should I include in a quote request?
- Company name and contact information
- Product name, category, or required specification
- Viscosity or grade
- Preferred packaging format
- Estimated order quantity
- Delivery city, state, and ZIP code
- Requested delivery date or purchasing schedule
Are payment or credit terms automatically included with a new account?
No commercial term should be assumed until it has been confirmed in writing. Account approval, payment requirements, credit availability, limits, and order conditions may require separate review.
Order Planning
Packaging, Delivery, and Fulfillment
Confirm package size, part number, quantity, warehouse availability, freight terms, and delivery requirements before finalizing an order.
What packaging formats are available?
Depending on the product, packaging may include liter or quart containers, gallons, cases, pails, drums, bag-in-box containers, bulk formats, or totes.
Not every package size is available for every formulation. Confirm the current product page, part number, and quote before ordering.
Does packaging availability vary by product?
Yes. Package availability can differ by brand, formulation, viscosity grade, production schedule, warehouse, and quantity. A package shown for one product should not be assumed to be available for another product.
Where does Lube Squad deliver?
Delivery availability and freight arrangements depend on the destination, product, quantity, package format, and servicing location.
Submit the delivery city, state, ZIP code, unloading requirements, and requested quantity to receive an application-specific answer.
How are lead times determined?
Lead times may depend on inventory, production, package format, order size, warehouse location, carrier availability, account status, and destination.

What should I do if an order arrives damaged or incomplete?
Note visible damage or shortages on the delivery paperwork when possible. Photograph the pallet, packaging, labels, affected containers, and shipment condition before moving or discarding materials.
Retain the relevant documents and contact customer support promptly with the order information, affected quantities, and photographs.
Business Development
Private Label and Distributor Support
Private-label and distribution projects require a clear product brief, expected volume, target market, packaging plan, and compliance review.
How do I discuss a private-label lubricant project?

Use the Contact page to begin the discussion.
Shop and Warehouse Practices
Product Storage and Handling
Protect lubricant quality through clean storage, accurate labeling, sealed transfer equipment, inventory rotation, and product-specific SDS instructions.
How should unopened lubricants and automotive fluids be stored?
Store products in their original, closed, correctly labeled containers and protect them from contamination, moisture, direct sunlight, and inappropriate temperature extremes.
Follow the product SDS, warehouse requirements, fire code, and applicable workplace procedures.
How should drums, pails, and totes be labeled after delivery?
Preserve the original product identification and ensure that workplace containers remain clearly associated with the exact product. Avoid handwritten abbreviations that could be confused with another viscosity, formulation, or fluid type.
Record receiving dates, opening dates, batch or lot information when available, and the dispensing equipment assigned to the product.
Can unused oil be returned to its original container?
Do not return dispensed product to the original container unless a controlled procedure specifically confirms that it has remained clean, correctly identified, and uncontaminated.
Funnels, pumps, hoses, measuring containers, and transfer equipment can introduce water, dirt, metal particles, or a different lubricant.
How long can motor oil, coolant, grease, or brake fluid remain in storage?
There is no single storage period that applies to every product. Storage life depends on formulation, container type, seal condition, storage environment, contamination exposure, and manufacturer guidance.
Use first-in, first-out inventory rotation and review the applicable product documentation when the age or condition of a product is uncertain.
Where can I find PPE, spill-response, and first-aid instructions?
Use the current product-specific Safety Data Sheet. Relevant sections address hazards, first aid, fire response, accidental release, handling, storage, exposure controls, personal protection, and disposal considerations.
